Conservative dentistry and prophylaxis

Conservative dentistry, and therefore caries prophylaxis and treatment, involves the use of best quality materials in our Clinic. We use light-cured (composite) fillings with glass fillers of high polishability, thanks to which it is possible to achieve shape and gloss as with natural teeth. The wide range of colours used for fillings allows us to perfectly match the shade so that the filling does not differ from the natural part of the tooth. Thanks to the manual skills of our doctors, we are able to rebuild the tooth perfectly.

At our Clinic, we systematically introduce the latest solutions in dentistry, such as composite materials based on nanotechnology.

Prophylaxis is commonly associated with regular tooth brushing but in fact this issue is much broader. To take a proper care of your teeth, you should not only brush them in the right way but also choose the brush and paste correctly, use dental floss and an appropriate liquid for oral hygiene. Periodic procedures at the dentist’s office such as sandblasting (removal of dental plaque), scaling (removal of dental tartar) and polishing of tooth surfaces are also necessary.

Aesthetic dentistry

Healthy or cured teeth often deviate from ideal, they are darkened, discoloured or have an unattractive shape, and this spoils the Patients’ well-being and does not allow them to smile freely. To restore a beautiful smile, we have at our disposal a number of treatments in the field of aesthetic dentistry – from basic ones (removing plaque and tartar, polishing the tooth surface) to correcting the shape of the tooth with composite or porcelain veneers. If the tooth is significantly damaged, we recommend applying inlay or onlay restorations (on molars and premolars), and in the case of significant cavities, we can make bridges, dentures and implants.

Whitening is a quite popular treatment among patients. We can carry them out in two ways – in the Clinic (a faster method but also more invasive) or at the Patient’s home (through a systematic use of overlays). However, you should always cure your teeth and replace leaking fillings before whitening.

You can count on our advice on the selection of optimal solutions for you. It is not difficult to choose the most expensive of all possible treatments but it is a real art to choose the right solution for each Patient individually.

Children’s dentistry

As parents and dentists, we also know how important it is to properly prepare your child for the first dental visit and how much success depends on it. Taking care of your own teeth and a visit at the dentist’s should be a source of pride and satisfaction for children, and not raise fears. Learning to brush, sealing, fluoridation, fillings in beautiful colours – all this can become fun, if we predispose the child well towards this, and the doctor will communicate well with a small patient. Prosthetics

As part of prosthetic services, we offer you a wide range of products, out of which we always choose the one that is the most desirable in your case, and at the same time – the most economically advantageous. We make crown and root inlays, porcelain crowns and bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, dentures (complete, partial and skeletal) – all based on the best materials from the leading global brands. When performing prosthetic works, we place a great emphasis on the aesthetic values of our restorations so that they are as natural as possible and functional at the same time.

Implants

Implants – a method of replacing missing teeth, developing and improving for 40 years. It is recommended for persons who, as a result of diseases, injuries or other reasons, lost a tooth along with the root and the only rescue is implantation of a titanium root, and then placing a crown, bridge or denture on it. In this way, we obtain the highest quality prosthetic restoration which gives maximum comfort to the Patient while maintaining the strength corresponding to real teeth. With proper hygiene, you can keep the implant for life.

Implant treatment is a long-term process consisting of two stages. The first is the implantation of a titanium implant in the mandible bone or jawbone. After waiting a few months (from 3 to 12 months, depending on the state of the bone and the rate of integration of the implant with bone tissue), the second stage follows – the prosthetic one, that is placing a crown, bridge or denture on the implant.

Implant treatment may be longer if the Patient’s jawbone or mandible bone is too weak to hold the implant. Adequate procedures are then used to augment (build up) the bone, such as lifting the base of the sinus or guided bone regeneration.

In our Clinic we work based on the following systems: Biomet 3i, BioHorizons, Straumann, Brånemark, Astra Tech and other.

Radiological diagnostics

Before we start treatment or any procedure, proper diagnostics is necessary, which in turn is based on more accurate X-ray images of the treated area. We can offer an alternative in the form of radiovisiography to persons who, for various reasons, should not be exposed to x-ray radiation at the right dose for this kind of imaging. The radiovisiograph allows us to take digital x-ray images with a minimum dose of radiation, which is up to 22 times lower than with a traditional x-ray imaging.

We also have a pantomograph to take panoramic images, which are very useful for diagnostics and treatment planning.

Dental surgery

In our Clinic we perform a wide range of services in the field of
dental surgery. The most common procedures performed by our specialized and experienced surgeons are:
• extractions – removal of teeth, roots, retained teeth,
• root tip resections, hemisection,
• lifting the base of the sinus,
• guided bone regeneration

Orthodontics

We offer orthodontic treatment for children, adolescents and adults, using the latest global solutions in the field of dentistry (removable and fixed braces in all available systems, and Invisalign overlay treatment).

Endodontics – root canal treatment under a microscope

Modern root canal treatment requires specialist equipment and extensive experience on the dentist’s side. In our Clinic you can be sure that the treatment will be carried out professionally and painlessly. We have equipment that allows us to make accurate diagnostics prior to treatment (radiovisiograph, pantomograph) and a microscope which is currently the most technologically advanced equipment designed for this type of treatment.

In the case of root canal treatment, detailed recognition of root structures, finding additional canals, and determining abnormalities in tooth structure (curved roots, overgrown canals, and narrowings) are of great importance. With the help of a microscope that magnifies the image more than 20 times, the doctor is able to perform the procedure with an accuracy impossible to achieve using the traditional method. All this happens in comfortable conditions for the Patient, thanks to the movable tip of the microscope (mobility in several planes), allowing free access to the treated tooth.

Periodontology

Periodontology is a field of dentistry that includes the treatment of periodontal disease and oral mucosa. Negligence in hygiene and in early treatment of periodontal disease can even lead to a loss of teeth, which is why we place a great emphasis on prophylaxis in this area such as professional removal of tartar and proper maintenance of oral hygiene. If the disease (periodontitis) is already advanced, we reach for surgical solutions – we clean the root surface of the bacterial plaque and tartar and correct damaged gums and bones (recession treatment, guided bone regeneration).

Anaesthesia, sedation

The procedures performed in our Clinic are intended to be painless for the Patient. We have a wide range of anaesthetic means at our disposal, thanks to which every Patient can feel comfortable in our office, and the doctor can freely and accurately carry out each procedure.
